CFC Member Matthews Mak – 1st Solo 21.5.2017

A big day in the flying career of our youngest CFC Member Man Kwan Matthews Mak today, as he executed his 1st Solo! CFII Jim Higginson provided expert instruction and mentoring leading to this milestone. Thanks to Eric Axelsson and Robert Powell who were there to congratulate Matthews and record his special day!

One of the greatest joys of flying in this beautiful area of ours is sharing it with family. It’s even better when our family are pilots themselves, like Robert and his daughter, in the club’s Piper Warrior II N3290Q.

N3290Q readies for another early sortie!

The Club’s PA28-161 Piper Warrior II is a familiar sight around the San Juan Islands, today we’re off for a delicious “$100 hamburger” at the Spruce Goose Cafe, Jefferson County Intl. Airport (TWD) in Port Townsend.
